Plant identification support from The San Diego Natural History Museum

A Memory Card Game created to play with neighbors in a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood. The cards feature horticultural information and botanical facts about plants commonly found in the area and reveal that the local landscape is actually of an incredibly diverse foreign origin. The object of the game is to keep track of the plant species and match cards by pairing scientific Latin names— while noticing trends in culturally problematic common names given to some plants and not others.
